A 6-week Bible study to go deeper with God and your small group

Wholehearted Living is a guided Bible study for Christians who want more than another discussion. Each week combines Scripture reflection, short teaching videos, and simple relational practices that help you connect more honestly with God and each other.

Start with your small group, your spouse and another couple, or two or three friends from church. No trained leader required.

A 6-week study that turns biblical insight into deeper relationships.

The Wholehearted Living guidebook gives your group everything it needs: daily Scripture reflections, weekly videos, and meeting guides that lead the conversation for you. Each week, you will:

1

Watch a short video introducing the week's theme.

2

On your own, spend 15 to 20 minutes with Scripture on four days, using guided questions that help you pay attention to your life with God.

3

Watch a brief skill-building video on practices like sharing what you feel and listening without fixing.

4

Meet for 90 minutes using the included conversation guide. Nobody prepares a lesson or carries the room.

All in, about 3 to 4 hours a week. The structure is simple enough to start without training, and deep enough to open conversations most groups never have.

Concrete practices for deeper Christian community.

i

Share authentically about your life.

Each person learns a simple way to share what is happening in their life, both the facts and the feelings underneath. It moves a group past updates and into honest connection.

ii

Identify the desires that shape your choices.

The daily reflections help you clarify what you actually want, and bring those desires to God instead of managing them alone.

iii

Listen without rushing to fix.

In your group meetings, you will practice asking good questions and staying present instead of jumping in with advice.

iv

Respond with empathy.

You will learn how to respond when someone shares something hard: what to say, what not to say, and how to stay with them in it.

v

Keep the conversation safe.

The study gives your group shared guidelines for confidentiality and honest sharing, so everyone knows the group is a safe place to be real.

For Christian small groups who want to go deeper together.

Wholehearted Living works well for:

Friends from church who want a meaningful six-week study.

Existing small groups looking for their next curriculum.

Couples who want to grow closer to God and can invite another couple or a trusted friend or two.

Women's and men's groups that want something deeper than a typical discussion guide.

Ministry leaders who need a study volunteers can actually lead.

Starting is simple. Text two or three people and ask, “Want to try a six-week Bible study together?” No application, no certification, no trained facilitator. Just a guidebook and a few people willing to show up honestly.

Stories from groups going deeper.

“It wasn't shallow. It was structured. It took you deeper. It eased you into something deeper.”

Betsy Thomas

Women's Ministry Director, West End Church

The guided questions helped the women in Betsy's group name deep desires, connect honestly with God, and move past a surface-level study experience.

“People learn skills they never had words for.”

Chris Guzzardo

Missionary in Nigeria · 18 groups led, 70+ people

One participant told him, “Nobody ever taught me how to just be present with someone who's hurting.” That is what Wholehearted Living gives people: simple practices they can actually use.
