If only believing God’s word was as simple as saying “I believe!”

But our visceral, gut-level beliefs are shaped by our life’s experiences. Rejection, failures, being let down by others – all of these shape our views of ourselves, God, and others. Becoming a believer and adopting a Biblical worldview doesn’t automatically erase the messages we internalized and continue to act from under pressure.

I Believe. But, do I Really? Focuses on closing the disconnect between what we profess we believe (ex. God is trustworthy) and what we unconsciously believe at a visceral level.

If you struggle with the following, this module is for you:

  • Fear

  • Anger

  • Trust issues

  • The need to control people and circumstances

  • Feeling like you have to earn God’s favor

  • Achieving lasting, personal transformation

  • Getting the truth of God’s word to penetrate the depths of your heart

  • Any areas of woundedness that communicated you are less than who God says you are

Testimonies

I was led down a path that challenged what I believed at a gut level about God, and the Lord used it to rewrite the narrative in my heart about what God’s goodness and protection really is.

This has been incredibly life changing, and has driven me to really asking the Lord to show me other ways in which I am missing who He really is.

I would encourage any past Battle participant to dive into the Belief Systems Module and see how God may use it to reveal any ways in which you may not see who He really is or who you really are. It just might change your life as it did mine.
