Battle for the Heart For Men
Event #1 in the Battle for the Heart Process for men.
Perhaps you’ve tried different things to bring about that change but you’re still the same man relating in the same old ways. And if you’re like most men, the struggle is wearing you out and making you feel guilty. Maybe you’re even getting close to giving up. But just trying harder is not the answer. The reality is, you won’t see the impact you long for unless you first experience real change in your own heart. And that’s not easy.
Wellspring has a path to this kind of transformation, one that’s grounded in Scripture and time-honored spiritual traditions: The Battle for Men’s Hearts.
Battle for the Heart For Women
Event #1 in the Battle for the Heart Process for women.
You long to be seen, and known, and cherished.
Every woman does. You want to believe that there is something truly special about you, an intrinsic beauty that age can never diminish. But if you’re like most women, disappointments and life’s demands crowd out all those longings. It’s easier not to acknowledge them, to yourself or to anyone else. And that’s a pretty lonely way to live.
The truth is, you were made for more. You were meant to live a life of hope, connection, impact, and adventure. You were created to love and be loved. You do, in fact, possess a radiantly beautiful heart, one that’s worth knowing and fighting for. But few of us live out of that truth on a consistent basis. Something has to change.
Wellspring has a path to this kind of transformation, one that’s grounded in Scripture and time-honored spiritual traditions: The Battle for Women’s Hearts. We lead teams of 4-5 women through a process that builds a safe place to take off masks and discover who they really are and who they were created to be. Through catalytic events and sustained follow-through, our participants find more connection – real connection – with God, brothers and sisters, and their own hearts.
Battle for the Heart For Men and Women
Event #1 in the Battle for the Heart Process.
This event offers another opportunity for men and women to experience the same path to transformation, one that’s grounded in Scripture and time-honored spiritual traditions as the Battle for the Heart for men and Battle for the Heart for women.
—–
Mixed gender event with men’s teams and women’s teams together in the large group teaching time with the exception of Friday morning when women’s and men’s teams meet separately. All teams are single gender and lodging is with your team (roommate selection is limited to someone from your team even if husbands and wives attend the same event*). Large group teaching time is a mix of male and female speakers.
Battle for the Heart for Men and Women retreats are the standard format for overseas events and outside the Southeast U.S. as needed based on demand and staff and volunteer capacity.
*exceptions may be made if both spouses are retreat facilitators
Battle for Your Domain For Men and Women
Event #2 in the Battle for the Heart Process.
Battle for Your Marriage
You’ve entered the Battle for Your Heart and experienced the transformation that’s possible when you live from your whole heart in authentic Biblical community. You’ve taken risks and fought for your own heart and those of the men or women on your team. But what does it look like to engage the Battle for the Heart in the riskiest of all relationships – your marriage?
That’s the adventure that awaits you in The Battle for the Heart of Marriage. This year-long process, offered exclusively to husbands and wives who have both completed the Battle for the Heart, takes couples deeper into the Four Spiritual Realities.
Silent Retreats
Do you sometimes struggle, even subconsciously, with the idea that you can never do enough to truly satisfy yourself? Others? God? It’s easy to fall into the belief that exhaustion has value and that the busier we are, the more faithful we must be.
There is a time-tested Christian rhythm of retreat with God in order to get re-centered—to let go of our attachments and attach ourselves to God alone. Do you sense this longing in yourself? Are you intrigued by the idea of getting away for a few days to “be still before the Lord”?
Wellspring Group offers both 3 and 5 day silent retreats with Spiritual Direction.

Building Authentic Community
A 6-week small group experience
Building authentic community requires developing safe environments in which people believe that if they open their hearts to share, they will be met with loving connection and caring! As you know from life experience that often doesn’t happen in the church.
So, how do you build a small group culture that goes beyond the facts and the rational truths of the scripture and digs a little deeper to spur each other on in heart connection and applying biblical truths to their everyday life?
Through 6 weeks of content, personal daily reflections and weekly small group discussions guides , we will provide a unique opportunity for your small group to walk together as they consider, reflect on, and apply truths from scripture and are equipped with skills of connecting deeply in a small group setting.
