The Wellspring Challenge for Women is by invitation only. Husbands who are participating in the challenge and are fully committed to engaging their wives’ hearts may invite their wives to join them on this journey. Here’s what it involves:
Phase One: The Battle for Your Heart
You will join a group of four women on an intensive, interactive four-day experience designed to help you recognize the battle that is raging for your heart. You’ll dive into the Four Critical Questions and the Four Spiritual Realities that answer these questions (see sidebar).
Next – and this is what makes the Wellspring Challenge so incredibly effective – you will engage in 16 weeks of daily encounters with Scripture and weekly interactions with the women on your team. That’s because real life change happens in the stuff of real life. During this phase, you will dig deeper into the first two Spiritual Realities (that God has chosen you for His Larger Story and that He has given you a unique part to play).
Phase Two: The Skills of Engaging from Your Heart
Phase Two begins with a three-day experience focused on the practical skills needed to engage one another and your world.
For the following 16 weeks, you will practice the skills you’ve gained and walk alongside the women on your team as you focus on the next two Spiritual Realities (evil is hunting you and the Fellowship that desires to protect you and propel you into making a difference in your world).
What happens at the Battle for Women's Hearts retreat?
The four-day events are designed to inspire and equip you to identify the battle for your heart and give you a framework for winning that battle through Four Spiritual Realities. These transformational events include:
- Discovery – through film clips, testimonies, and teaching
- Personal reflection – giving you time alone to process your experience and hear from God
- Teamwork – in which you taste the power of intimate fellowship in the context of divine love
- Free time
What happens at the Engaging from the Heart retreat?
The Engaging from the Heart retreat is a three day event designed to help you grow in the skills of engaging others at a heart level using the BLESS skills of Biblical Community.
- Be fully present on all four levels; identify and connect with the person
- Listen in three directions: to what is happening in the other person, what is happening in you and what you sense God is experiencing and directing;
- Effectively ask questions that take the other person down the elevator to their feelings and deep desires
- Share from your heart going up the floors;
- Savor the moment: reflect and celebrate what you are experiencing
Who will serve you at these events?
The Wellspring team consists of staff and experienced volunteers who facilitate your team and administer the retreat. This team symbolizes all the men and women who love God, long to fight for your heart, and will help you become the man God created you to be.

* The total investment in the Wellspring Challenge is approximately 9 - 12 months of time and $1,500 based on semi-private room. Churches may choose to supplement participant expenses and Wellspring Group accepts tax-deductible scholarship contributions.
Retreat costs include include food, lodging, retreat materials and administrative expenses.
Engaging the Fellowship fees cover materials and every other week equipping calls that provide hands-on-training for your team's facilitator.
